Founded by brothers Pico and Vitaliano Maccario in Mombaruzzo, in the province of Asti, the winery has become one of the most contemporary names in Piedmont wine. Now present in more than 48 countries, the winery brings together winemaking, terroir, art, and visual identity in a coherent, instantly recognizable narrative, made iconic in part by its colorful pencil-shaped posts, which over time have become true art installations.

The medium-textured clay soils typical of Monferratogive rise to a varied, well-balanced range of wines with a modern, versatile style. By contrast, the Tortonian and Helvetian soils characteristic of the Langhe produce more structured, austerered wines with excellent aging potential, along with white wines of remarkable freshness and elegance.

In 2025, it became part of the ambitious ONIWINES project. An established winery producing elegant, expressive wines attuned to contemporary tastes. It is a modern winery in every sense, from vineyard management to brand image, perfectly aligned with the DNA of Oniwines.
