AltitudeThe winery
ERT1050 is a high-altitude viticulture project established on the slopes of Monte di Brentonico, between 550 and 1,050 meters above sea level. Here, the vineyard seems to stand in direct dialogue with the sky: cool exposures, sharp shifts in temperature, wind, light, and silence. Growing vines at these altitudes means embracing the challenge. The mountain allows no shortcuts: it demands skilled hands, time, and precision. In return, it yields wines that are taut, age-worthy, and pure in expression. The name ERT1050 brings together place and measure: "ert" refers to the mountain side, while 1050 marks its highest elevation. A clear, deliberate act that guides the vine toward its most vertical expression.
Our products
Trento DOC Metodo Classico Brut – 24 months Made from high-altitude Chardonnay grapes and slowly aged on the lees for 24 months. A Metodo Classico that captures the mountain with precision and restraint. Extended lees aging enhances its freshness, depth, and tension. The palate is linear and crisp, with a natural verticality that reflects the climate, the altitude, and the passage of time. Trento DOC: harmony between sky, earth, and time.
What it means
To us
ERT1050 is a project that approaches Metodo Classico through the lens of mountain viticulture, bringing out the value of a complex and unconventional growing environment. The initiative reflects the group's desire to expand its winemaking research, exploring new expressions of freshness, precision, and identity. For us, mountain sparkling wines represent a balance between technical rigor and a strong connection to the land, producing distinctive, elegant wines with excellent aging potential.
